PIMA Announces 2021 Insights Awards Competition Results

CHICAGO (June 30, 2021) – The Professional Insurance Marketing Association® (PIMA) announced the winners of its annual Insights Awards competition during its Summer Insights Conference.

PIMA's competition recognizes outstanding achievement in marketing with gold, silver and bronze awards presented based on scores earned in results, marketing strategy and creative execution.

“Best of PIMA” was awarded to Pearl Insurance for its “Text Message Bill Pay Reminders and SMS Infrastructure Build-Out for Current Insureds.” Pearl Insurance collected feedback from its customer call center team and creatively upgraded every aspect of the user experience.

“Judges Choice” was awarded to Franklin Madison for its Multi-Channel AD&D in the Solicitation campaign for Guaranteed-Issue/Simplified-Issue Product category.


Category 1 - Lead Generation

Zeis Group, in collaboration with AGIA Affinity, took home the gold award for its Life Insurance Central (LIC) Re-Engineered Digital Lead Generation campaign.

Pearl Insurance took home the silver award with its Systematic Marketing Emails – Engineers Professional Liability Insurance campaign.

Prudential took home the bronze award for its NCPERS Webinar Prospecting Project campaign.

Category 2 - Solicitation for Guaranteed-Issue/Simplified-Issue Product

Pearl Insurance took home the gold award for its Life and Disability Insurance Special Offer Campaign.

Prudential took home the silver award for its AICPA 4/1 CPA Life Campaign.

AGIA Affinity took home the bronze award for its ID Resolve campaign.


Category 3 - Solicitation for Underwritten Product

Pearl Insurance took home the gold award for its ACOG Level Term Life Insurance Campaign.

TPG, in collaboration with Amwins, took home the silver award for its ACS Insurance Triple Value Direct Mail campaign.

New York Life took home the bronze award for its Voluntary Benefits Plan Group Disability Insurance Direct Mail campaign.


Category 4 - Customer Cross-sell and Upgrade Marketing

Zeis Group took home the gold award for its Aon COVID-Adapted Term Life Insurance Cross-sell to NSO/HPSO Insureds campaign.

Prudential took home the silver award for its AICPA 5/1 Spouse Life campaign.

Driasi took home the bronze award for its Cross-Selling in Uncertain Times campaign.


Category 5 - Conservation/Retention

Pearl Insurance took home the gold award for its Text Message Bill Pay Reminders and SMS Infrastructure Build-Out for Current Insureds campaign.

AGIA Affinity took home the silver award for its My Account: Customer Self-Serve Portal campaign.

SelmanCo took home the bronze award for its Communication is Key to Client Retention campaign.

Category 6 - Self-Promotion/Branding/Awareness

Pearl Insurance took home the gold award for its The Balanced Equation campaign.

Bodden Partners, in collaboration with Texas Medical Association Insurance, took home the silver award for its COVID-19 Self-Promotion campaign.

Prudential took home the bronze award for its AICPA Paid Search and Landing Page Test campaign.
