1975

PIMA Inc.

Professional Independent Mass-Marketing Administrators (PIMA) incorporates and holds its first meeting in Kansas City, MO

1987

Winter Conference

President Gerald R. Ford attends PIMA's Winter Conference.

1994

The White House

PIMA meets with White House staff to discuss health care reform.

1998

Name Change

PIMA changes its name to Professional Insurance Marketing Association, Inc. (PIMA).

2012

Membership Goals

PIMA membership exceeds $15 billion in affinity premium and 25+ million certificates in force.

2015

40th Anniversary

PIMA celebrates its 40th anniversary by unveiling the Affinity 2020 Report.

2019

Membership Structure

PIMA modifies membership structure to include non-insurance offerings. Migrates name to PIMA to reflect membership is broader than insurance and marketing.
